PCI next to town

As planned, the Pierre-Paul Christian Initiative got near Jacmel town so as to reach more people throug its training and internet services.

Since June 2010, the PCI, founded in August 2009, worked in Saint-charles community. We could desserve more than 70 children and more than 300 young adults through psychosocial activities, training, awareness on children's rights and family planning, education program, etc. But that community was considered too far from the town and access too difficult, and few people could benefit from.

Jenna Halase, one of the Americans who worked for the PCI in August 2010, always nudged the PCI to get nearer the town so more people could benefit from our services and that we can get better financial entries. When we launched our computing and internet services, it became more for us to leave Saint-charles community and get near the town.

But the PCI will keep working with Saint-charles community in various projects with different partners, always for the community well-being.
