Cholera back, Pierre-Paul reacts

Deadly child
JACMEL - After two-month respite, Cholera is back and already killed more than 10 people over a week in the south-east of Haiti, mainly in Thiotte and areas next to the border line.

In a press conference on April 20, PCI president Josué Pierre-Paul declared he regrets cholera is back and caused more people to die. So, he encouraged people not to forget about hygiene advices and to take necessary precautions against the epidemy.

He took advantage of that time to inform them that the PCI will not stay inactive. "We will do our best to form or take part in an international mission agaist Cholera for Haiti with people willing to help give care and get awareness on hygiene.

"Community people can be sure the PCI will not forsake them in these difficult times. We will keep doing our very best to support them", PCI president stated. The PCI just needs space for volunteers to come and help our people. If you want to take part in this mission, please contact us right now. Phone: (509) 31 09 9715 or 39 94 9718.
