Since the end of June 2011, our foundation enables more than 60 children and young adults to learn computer sciences free over a year.
The idea to set up a special computer course came up during a meeting between Josué Pierre-Paul and his office staff in May 2009. We are conscious tens of children and young adults will have nothing to do for the summer vacations, as they lack money. As we would not like them to waste their time during the vacations, Pierre-Paul accepted to launch the course by the end of June 2011.
Most of the the project beneficiaries come from communities whose population is very poor. "Even though we don't have a big space for that, we are determined to give our contribution. We divide the day in three parts. In each part, we receive 7 people so they can learn better", the PCI leader declared.
"The people who attend this course are mostly moneyless people", the PCI office assistant added. They can't go to professional schools as they are expensive. Beneficiaries witness the PCI is doing a very great work enabling them to know how to use computers free, things they would not be able to pay for.
The PCI nudges you to send your contribution so we can keep on doing so because we lack computers, and equipment to offer them better services. You get questions ? Do you get an advice for us ? You can contact us by sending us an email: pcihaiti@hotmail.com or call us : (509) 31 09 9715.
