PCI president Josué Pierre-Paul participated in the 10th Haiti Lutheran Convention, from the 10th to 14 of August 2011, to reinforce the partnership that ties the PCI and the Lutheran Church.

The 10th Haiti Lutheran Convention took place in Les Cayes, in the south part of Haiti. He was accompanied by Géraldine Isidor, a senior PCI member. It was organized to bring Lutherans together to praise the name of Jesus and set up a new Haitian Lutheran Church committee. "It was a very great moment, and it enabled my soul to be reinforced to keep on working for our God", Josué Pierre-Paul declared by the end of that Convention.

Pierre-Paul declared he is very delighted pastor Marky Kessa is still the chief of the Haitian Lutheran Church right after the different districts delegates' vote. And he promised to develop programs to support the pastor to do better over his new mandate.

Since 2010, the Pierre-Paul Christian Initiative (PCI) have been collaborating with the Lutheran Churches, and several projects have been carried out with their support within the PCI. Pierre-Paul said he will keep praying the Lord so this collaboration will stay on and bring more results in Haitians' lives.
